Assignment Fees

The following schedule applies to photojournalistic assignments for
Mark M. Hancock and/or New Eagles photojournalists.

General assignments are expected to last no more than two hours. Commercial assignments (corporate and advertising) are expected to take place in one location and last no more than four hours. Real Estate (full service) is expected to last about one hour. Additional fees must be negotiation beforehand for multiple locations or anticipated delays.

Newspaper
$200 minimum or publication's standard rate (whichever is higher) per assignment
perpetual, royalty free, nontransferable, nonexclusive, first rights to 30 days.

75 cents per mile outside Dallas and Collin counties

$50 plus 75 cents per mile

amount is for shoot and delivery of at least one toned exterior image
no specific shoot time can be honored (see full assignment if specific time is required)

Nonprofit Discounts
We offer a 20 percent discount on corporate assignment rates to educational institutions and 501C-3 certified organizations. Additional fees are negotiated individually.

Fulfillment service
$250 This offer is not available for commercial purposes or weddings.

We're confident enough in our abilities to offer a photojournalistic fulfillment service. For these shoots, we only invoice for the fulfillment fee and estimated mileage (55 cents per estimated mile round trip). This covers our basic cost of acquiring images.

The invoice amount only guarantees we'll shoot and present a specifically-requested assignment for future use in a Web gallery. Invoice amount is immediately payable and payment is required prior to or upon arrival at the location regardless of licensing.

Images are made available for print sales to the public through a secure photo lab with no licenses granted. Each image can later be individually licensed and invoiced as needed for editorial or select commercial use per image per publication/Web site through Zuma Press.

Fulfillment service is strictly offered on an "as available" basis. It is not guaranteed because we must accept paid assignments first.

These images will be marketed to all willing editorial media clients and syndicated. Fulfillment service only warrants a specifically-requested subject will be shot and presented for review if we're available.

Stated mileage fees will be invoiced on no-shows, weather interferences and other actions out of the control of the photojournalist. If paid in advance, Web gallery fee will be refunded in these circumstances.
